Athina Krikeli - thank you Litochoro and elassona team and friends

During a cultural traditional dancing event, award winning documanterian Athina Krikeli had the opportunity to thank the local production team and friends of the making of "the Birth of Mt. Olympus" 
Mayor of Elassona Mr. Evagelou honored Ms Krikeli for her contribution in promoting Mt Olympus. "Having people like Athina Krikeli to promote our great mountain, we have a chance to  become a global destination, something that should have been done years ago "

"You gave me the opportunity to climb Mt. Olympus for a first time via Elassona. This year I went up again from Litochoro for the needs of the second documentary. Mt Olympus is a life achievement an amazing journey no matter were you decide to approach it from!  Our responsibility is to treat it with respect!  I thank all friends and locals who become part of our effort"
